Earthcube relies on MarkLogic's DataHub for its strategic AI-based monitoring solutions
/MarkLogic Corporation, the next generation data platform provider for simplifying data integration, announced that the French start-up EarthCube has chosen its C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) Data Hub to expand its strategic site monitoring offer on map analysis and AI.
Earthcube: a surveillance solution to defence and industrials companies
Founded three years ago, Earthcube offers strategic surveillance solution based on Artificial Intelligence and cartographic imaging analysis to defence and industrial companies. Called S-Cube, this solution analyses data from various sources, including satellite and aerial images, but also AIS (Automatic Identification System), etc. EarthCube provides its users, through dashboards, with a real-time view of activities around their strategic sites as well as alerts in the event of threats or intrusions.
In order to ensure optimal operation of its solution and to meet the high security and confidentiality requirements of its customers, Earthcube must be able to rely on a platform that cannot only provide high performance for the integration, aggregation and analysis of multisource data in high volumes, but also guarantee maximum protection of the latter. This is why the start-up, which now has around thirty employees, offers to its customers the opportunity to use MarkLogic's C5ISR Data Hub to analyze, store and restore data.
MarkLogic Data Hub: an open-architecture information system
MarkLogic's Data Hub architecture provides Earthcube with the flexibility, scalability and resources necessary to ensure optimal performance. In addition, MarkLogic's by-design security features, such as data masking, native encryption and segmentation, provide companies with the necessary guarantees to protect their critical and confidential data, such as the exact location of pipelines, critical infrastructure and military bases.
The MarkLogic C5ISR Data Hub is an open-architecture information system designed to ensure decision-making superiority. It integrates all sources of information from command, reconnaissance, detection and intelligence systems and delivers common tactical and historical schemas. Based on proven technology for global operations, the flow of information is secure under all network connectivity conditions of the command centre and supports joint interoperability.
This partnership also allows MarkLogic to strengthen its presence in the defence sector in France and Europe, where Earthcube already has several customers. And conversely, Earthcube relies on MarkLogic's reputation in these same sectors in the Anglo-Saxon world to develop.
